The Liberals have dusted off their latest senator to take a few shopts at Harper The news todays has Larry Campbell addressing the media on how Harper is ignoring the serious problems of addiction. He soon strays from the topic to take swings at him about his position on gay marriage etc.. I think Harper has stated his position on these things, but Larry's voice puts a different slant on what was actually said, as he tries to stir up confusion and distrust, as well as a little fear among the undecided.
This man is a myth in his own mind, and for some reason or other thinks that jewels of wisdom fall from his lips. In reality he has shown how cheap he can be bought to become a mouthpiece for the Federal Liberals.
Give him a little more air time I say, and Martin will be in a worse mess than he is at present.

Check out the latest Strategic Counsel numbers on the debate. Harper won by over 20 percent.
Do you think this will still apply:
"Conservatives ahead by 3! But look out, Ontario still not quite there yet nor is the Atlantic, both we predict will in the clinch panic and vote anything but Conservative."

Your not too far wrong Jack. The Liberals will work hard on the negative stuff from here on in. The objective will be to get the always nervous Ontarians to vote for the "devil they know". The Libs have no choice right now, and it proved effective in the last go-around. Two weeks is a long time to sit on a lead in the polls.

Jack Ryan, unlike others I admit I will eat crow on that line. I'm still amazed though. But this is politics. It can turn on a dime just like it did in the last week for Harper. Liberal campaign strategy has been to say the least lacking. P.S. Harper was smart in turfing Derek Zeisman to avoid any turns.

We should all remember that famous American election where Thomas Dewey was declared the winner and new President by a major U.S. newspaper at press time, while some of the polls were still open. The next A.M it was the other way around. Ya never know when the opinions or pollsters count voters, but the the number of seats determine the winner.
