Booky, Maybe you won't be saying "cool" when your taxes increase by a whole bunch next year to pay for the sucker.
Bonus density - just another way of cutterling up the landscape and taking more of the natural vegetation from the land. Developers do not need bonus density - they need to adhere to the bylaw not make sustancital compliance. This is just another way to not adhere to the provisoions of the bylaw and fudge on the rules.
My reading of the Times article gave me no more insight of what's going on regarding the grandsand issue than what I've read on this blog. In addition to that, I ask myself why it took so long to report what was reported. Now I'd like to read every detail of an investigation into how the township got themselves into another costly mess. Who's to blame?Where did it go off the rails? How come the township ends up holding the bag while the other participants look on from the sidelines. Why such an elegant structure in the first place?
Etc?
I should add that I expect the same questions to answered here on this blog eventually.
