If Oliver was a friend as well as my opponent in Abbotford, and made this offer to me, I would have told him not to be so stupid, and walked out in spite of the sleasy suggestion. End of story. Niether candidate in this case had a snowball's chance of winning, but the NDP always seek to be front and centre, where proof of their purity can be illustrated.

I think that there is more than one door knob involved in this issue. There is always the question of whether the story is true to consider as well, and the accuser knows that very well. The accused can claim inocence now for the rest of his life, but never be believed. That's why I would have walked out and shut my mouth. What would you have done.
