Sounds like a reasonable request. I'm sure Jordan will respond, and in doing so he will dig a little deeper I would imagine. That's what we want too, so let's get to the bottom of it.

A very enlightening article. If we don't get to the bottom of this boondogle we will look like sheep going to slaughter. I don't think that Jordan and Kim really disagree about there being a problem, but where the hell are the rest of the councilors on this?
If my understanding is correct, and we are in this until the end at the present cost (or more?), then the direction we need to take now is to expose the persons at fault. This is a lot of money carelessly squandered for a township sized government. Maybe someone has an idea about a suitable investigative body to look into this. At no expense if possible.

After reviewing all the comments, I guess Jordan never did answer this question and apparently never will. Unfortunate. At least he does seem to be talking to Richter re the Motions they agreed on and hopefully they will mutually get council to get to the bottom of the Grandstand overruns. And more importanly change the Township culture of, "tax , spend & now borrow!"

There is a recap of the history and causes of the cost over run on Jordan's blog. It's a bit sketchy though. If the whole boondogle hadn't screamed out loud as a looming problem from about 2004 onward, a person could overlook the mess maybe.
That wasn't the case though. It's as though they could see the obvious cost explosion developing, but just pressed on for some reasom or other.
If only that persistant housefly on the walls of the old township hall could speak........
