A bit unorthadox for sure, but B.C. and Canada got a good deal. Nobody ever said that there's an even number of qualified ministers in every party, and when you have a minority government the pickings can be lean. I think Harper simply needed a man for the job, and Emerson accepted the offer, while knowing the media would jump all over him. We may never know what words were exchanged between he and Harper when the agreement was made.

IMO the government needs a few more with Emerson's qualifications and a head for business management. Pity they'd never find even ONE in the NDP Party.

Oh Belinda baby had Daddy's money wrapped around her. but don't wory about Emerson. He has raised lots and lots of money for the Liberals. How come there is so much fuss about this, and hardly anything when Stronach , Keith Martin, Bryson, and Dosangh crossed the floor???Don't do as I do, do as I say!!
