If I'm not mistaken, the wages mentioned for administrators and managers looks to be much much more than a mayor's wages. The situation does beg the question of who runs our municipalities, but experience in city management doesn't come from a ballot box I suppose. Who get the last say on issues? Perhaps someone will enlighten me.

I dont think any mayor that want to stay in power would screw around with the civilservants and the publicsector unions Most likely they come to an understanding scratch my back and I scratch yours
