Kim Richter is right However she is in no position, with her public sector salary,pension and benefits to preach at the little guys on council that just make a living

The pundit is out getting her monthly 50 cc's of cobra venum.
I suppose as long as arrangements for a salary increase don't come out of an in-camera meeting as a done deal we can feel fairly safe. If it is discussed in camera, I think it should not be held in confidence, as so many things are.

When will they learn that the only things discussed in secret are those that deal with in house activities. Problems that relate to individual employees, staff performance, grievances, and the many other things that have a personal privacy factor attached to them are not necessarily the business of the public.
I think that councillors should be released from the "Omerta" cloak that comceals many activities from public awareness. They can then voice their objections openly and the public will be able to see what they have often missed in the past.
