I'm curious as what what special talents a person needs to become a member of the Land Commission. The purpose of the ALR is quite clear, and the permanent staff members include the agricultural expertise needed. Our very own Mayor Alberts was the head of the commission at one time (if I'm not mistaken??) and his background is in city planning. Perhaps a good business head, and a feeling for our environement is most important. If an agricultural background in the key factor, what sector should it be in? Beef? Pork? Chickens? Horse boarding? Hobby?
