Run the sewer to Abbotsford. That way we will be investing in our future divorce from GVRD. The more we depend on them now, the harder it will be to break away in the future.

Re the cost of this sewer to members of the community, the project should have been right at the top of the priority list instead of sport fields and grandsatnds etc. I'm really surprised that few, other than Richter, harped on this issue with the volume a bit louder.

Lets go back and see if Richter ever even commented on the cost of Aldergrove sewers since joining the council in 1999, or running for council 10 years ago. Has she ever offered a constructive suggestions about sewers in East Langley in the past 10 years?

The Current Issues section of Kim Richter's web site still refers to the election of 2002 - she doesn't appear to have the energy to address any new issues in the past four years, judging from her own web site.
