I got a great kick out of the twin children who donated $10,800 to Volpe's campaign. Once again a Liberal candidate upholds the party tradition of believing we are fools when election time comes. It's a shame that they have been conditioned by our actions, which have confirmed this attitude too often in the past.

I rather liked the comments of Manitoba MP Pat Martin. He compared the Liberal party to a chronically misbeving dog. When the dog realizes the rules have changed (in this case election finance rules), "there he is digging under the fence".

The kids were used to disguise the fact that one company, Apotex, was the real source of all the money.
