Curious why they would release this WRC announcement days before Xmas. Makes one almost wonder what they may be hiding. Bad PR advice.

You announce bad things politically just before Xmas as everyone is just too busy and not listening this time of year. Bad decision, wasted opportunity to get a big splash. Even in the papers it will be crowded out by politician's xmas recipes.

Rich should fire his PR company! His PR advisors tried to push it as "Langley's Xmas present" but failed to think it was a terrible time of year to announce good news. Methinks it was a junior PR advisor with childish enthusisam as the mature partners were out Xmas shopping and doing the Xmas party circuits. Very stupid decision, lost opportunity.
