I really feel strongly about the contents of this YouTube video. Many people might feel as I do in fact.

I can describe the scene in the MONTREAL area where I grew up, and the background is very similar. There was a beach at the end of my street. We fished the river on a regular basis. I could even picture Opie in the scene, whistling along hand in hand with his dad.

My little Utopia disappeared over time also, and the river became a sewer. The world's headlong growth in its population, along with the entangled economic pressures to support them, has taken this away from many Canadians as well as those of the First Nations. Sad but true.
