Well I've heard of sex role playing like
"Break out prisoner & the Wardens wife"
but now it's "Captain & the Deckhand?"

Is this the maritime equivalent of the mile high club? On the bridge no less!

Captain, I don't believe they hit a whale. They may have had a whale of a time though. Pretty romantic at night on the bridge. Imagine if they were two gay people though then Langley fundamentalists would have had a gay grand old time asking for school book rewrites!

What's the union's position here?

Ok, that's a good question. So far it looks like they've done everything possible to protect the two individuals who were on deck. That's very good for the brotherhood, but so far it seems to have blocked us from knowing what really happened. They are the only ones that know right now as far as the public knows. The union has also blurred the issue by harping about safety.

Wow, all frivolity aside here, just think how a person would feel, were it friend or family, knowing that this could have been the cause of their loss. I hope that we do get some answers and some accountability on this tragedy.

If members were really "friggin' in the riggin'" while the ferry went aground, there will be no end to the shame of this story.
Imagine the union's attempt to spin this most unfortunate incident while trying to retain some credibility. "It was the companies fault because..."
Will anyone apologize to the families of the victims?
OK |
