I haven't seen the political side of
Franken very often, but know him better as someone in the entertainment business. He's nobody's fool though. It's hard (for me anyway) to figure just how far left he is, because Bush's guys did a good number on him through Rush Limbaugh and others.

Yep...he's good at lampooning the right. It is a shame that he will have to get serious. I wonder if he would do better to stick with what he is good at? He probably feels as if he has to do something proactive. Good luck to him.

BTW I wasn't even aware that Rush Limbaugh etc had done "a number" on him, I thought it was the other way around...I guess it depends on what you read and watch.

Quaker, the reason that I thing Limbaugh did a number on him is that when Franken started his radio show, he had a hell of a time getting networking. Word is that between Limbaugh and the Bushies, Franken was a tar baby that would best be avoided.
