Let's see some more Langley school xxxxxxxxxx & trustees run for council because they obviously know how to spend money but not make money. They will fit in well with the current Alberts Langley council.

In Langley city council the Mayors have been School bOARD Trustees and you have a possible Dave Hall running in next election who was a Trustee. They seem use the board as a spring into the political crowd. So what are you saying about the City Council Anonymous 10.10.07

You really don't get how things work yet, do you Keith.
Any new space...including expansion for an existing high school, is not funded by the ministry unless the surounding highschools are at 110%.

Keith says: Here is how. The speculation has been that the board wanted to ensure all space was filled at the high school level so they could build a new high school on the slope. In my opinion, that was the clear context of my comments. A natural follow-up from you or others could have been that they are instead freeing up monies to expand Mountain. Fair and simple.

Thank you Anom. & yes we don't mind anonynmous comments on LFP as it is understandable why, otherwise there would probably be hardly no comments at all and it would just end up being dominated just like 'Jordan's Junkies' dominate another well known site with an ongoing benign mutual circle of pathetic & pleasantary platitudes and compliments for their host's political narcisim!
Calling anyone gutless and cowardly with unfortunate comments like "do you even read what I write?" shows clearly a double standard (specifically in reference to this LFP Editor being called disrespectful!) but then some of the good ole boys silent slate on Township council and School Bored have perhaps set the shining double standard example! Then when all else fails then obviously one finally turns to censorship! Heck, this LFP Editor never even used words like gutless, cowardly, etc about our commenters!

Keith is an astute informed gentleman who like 'Blair' will not likely reposnd to the LFP editors simple minded rebuke that is so wrong. The LFP editor hates anyone suggesting he may be wrong....the world is wrong other than Anon, who must be a member of the LFP's, and Richter's family.
Sad isn't it. This posting is about an important education matter that is presently tearing the community apart and as usual Rennie of the Township council's 'good ole boys' rat pack has no relevant or pertinent or reasonable thing to say on topic but rather slides in vitriolic criticism about this Editor, Cllr. Richter and any of her family members! Sad, very sad.

I don't know who Rennie is, but in fairness, it was Anon's comments - not Rennie's - and then your follow up, that "sadly", as you say, took this thread off the very important topic of of the failure of SD35's business company to generate any meaningful revenues.
I also welcome anonymous comments on my blog as long as they remain G-rated and respectful.

Anon, I did not keep a copy of my comment, so I don't know which word I used that apparently crossed the line. However, the basic content of my point is intact so it is no big deal in my books.
