There's no doubt about the seriousness of the street shootings that are right here in our community. Some would say that it's only criminals killing other low-lifes, but there are often innocents involved as well. If there was a simple solution to these shootings we would surely jump on it. Some deaths from another cause can be prevented though, but so far ther has been no jumping on the cause.

An innocent person was killed on 16th Avennue last night, just over on the Surrey side. This time in a road accident. I have lost count of the innocents that have been killed on that road, and I couldn't tell you how many of them coud have been saved if Zero ave was restored for normal traffic use, but I ame sure that there are more than one. All the while the township mayor and his cronies (I hope you still remember their names) will do nothing to reestablish Zero Avenue to a full status roadway. These same councilors who supported the mayor by downgrading of Zero Ave, will no doubt tell you that trabsportation in the Langleys is a major concern! Makes ya wonder huh? Do these people know the meaning of responsibility?
