Odd that young Jake wasn't there. I'm sure he must have had a previous engagement. Or perhaps his handlers advised him to stay away from being seen near Dion.

If any of the by-elections go Tory or NDP, the knives will be out for Dion.


It has to be tough especially for a young chap like Jake Gray to put his life on hold for this very long a period of time waiting for an election that he has no chance to win in the first place as a Langley Dion Liberal. If Kim Richter could not beat a conservative parachute drop in in 2004 neither will he.

Its certainly not about the candidate in Langley it's about the party first and leader second. The candidate comes a very distant third and is irrelevent. Sadly the langley Conservatives should try to open up the nomination to try and get a better quality MP who could be cabinet material. Very sad indeed that we have to make do with a Mary Polak/Grant Ward look-a-like with Langley conservative MP Mark Warawa.
