The Iraq/Afghanisthan war(s) are not about oil or democracy but about the US dollar. This whole posting proves that the US of A's biggest and only really remaining export is it's currency that they will protect at all costs and that the Iraq war is just a convenient racket. We all must now pay through the nose in unrealistic and unnesseary false high gas and oil prices to save the almighty George Bush US of A dollar.

Sham you may enjoy this short news video clip too:

and this news release on EXXON profits:

http://www.liveleak.com/view? i=6...=66c_1202007852

where we get these cute quotes:

"Exxon, the world's largest publicly traded oil company, said fourth-quarter net income rose 14% to $11.66 billion, or $2.13 per share. The company earned $10.25 billion, or $1.76 per share, in the year-ago period."

"The profit topped Exxon's previous quarterly record of $10.7 billion, set in the fourth quarter of 2005, which also was an all-time high for a U.S. corporation."

So maybe the middle-men control the world oil price & supply but obviously the oil companies and the oil producing countries are doing great gobs on cash too!!!!

QUOTE --> "There's no scarcity of oil in the market" because international oil supplies are very high, Venezuela's state-run news agency quoted El-Badri as saying. see it live here ->

Previous From Iranian international news website ALL IN ENGLISH !

What's the real truth or propaganda? Is it really "speculation, weak dollar and geopolitical issues" or peak oil ?

My answer is go to Aldergrove for gas. It's up to 10 cents cheaper. No GVRD or Translink taxes there. YET

Anon, actually you have to choose a gas station anywhere starting from the East side of 276th Street (Abbotford line).

Just a thought after reading the above editorial. It seems to me that George W. Bush is a central figure regarding just about all of the strife in the world today, and certainly OIL is a center piece of all of that strife.

George W.- OIL-Terrorism-AlQuada-Iraq-Iran-Extreme Islam-through the roof energy prices-recession-housing loan failures etc; This could all be put into one big word ending with Bush. This brainless U.S. President and his minions have managed to upset almost the whole world emotionally as well as economically, yet he still struts around like a bantam rooster. The question now is: How much more damage can he do in the next seven months? The question in November will be: Will another Republican President continue with the same policy? mistakes? Wake up America.
