Kinda thin, this. I am no fan of the Hildebeast, HillBillary Klinton, but this could easily have been just a case of her not paying attention to the question.
Don't get me wrong, I think she's running in 2008. I think she has been for some time - like the day after Kerry lost. But she, like most politicians knows not to announce too soon because it makes them a target.
And in her case, she's made a "solemn oath" to her constituents that if they re-elect her in 2006 she will serve her whole term in the Senate. If she admits now that she's running it could kill her chances in 2006.
So she'd be really stupid to say anything intentionally about the 2008 run now. I think it was just a mistake on her part which she quickly corrected.
But you can take heart in the fact that Fat Teddy is already lined up to oppose her, as are Kerry, Gore, and Dean, so she's doomed anyway.
True, but still,I think she is having trouble keeping all the lies straight.
