Gravatar Hey, Annabelle, guess what? They set up a little cyber-cafe that we can use to check our email. I'm glad I don't have the pressure of trying to blog from here though. There is a line of people waiting to get on. Thanks for saving my perfect attendance record. Love you guys!!!

Gravatar Great post! I always wondered how to find "x," and now I know. You really should get back into blogging. You have a real knack for writing. In that paragraph you wrote for today's blog entry, I could not have BEEN more entertained. Can't wait to see what we learn tomorrow. : ) I love you! Ninny-Ka-Lee-Kee-Mah-Kah

Gravatar Nice job, Annabelle, you old ghost writer! I hope your mom remembers to pay you handsomely for this gig!

One minor point, in case that triangle problem ever appears on an algebra test, or maybe the SAT: You can also find X by squaring the 3 to get 9, squaring the 4 to get 16, adding those two squares to get 25, and then taking the square root of 25 to get X = 5. (Or you can just look and see that it's a 3-4-5 right triangle.) Pythagoras rules!

Gravatar Ninny Christmas?

Gravatar Annabelle,
Great job keeping your mom's blog alive! I read through your old blog the other night and really enjoyed your writing style. I wonder where you get your talent?!

Do you know who I am? We met at the Charlottesville Bodo's in October.

Gravatar Annabelle, you do math like me. Logically. Sensibly.

Unfortunately, I also found logic never worked and I failed algebra twice.

So don't do math like me, ok?

Your post cracked me up.....

Gravatar Annabelle, I enjoyed your post to your Mom's blog. You are a great writer and I love your sense of humor. Keep up the good work!

Gravatar Annabelle -- Thank you! I've been looking for that blasted X for forever! Just one thing now... where's all the loot...
