Gravatar I'll pass on the political debate to say the color of the stuff cooking on the stove is awful and unappetizing. Does it look that way in real life?

Gravatar Elitists of the world arise. You have nothing to lose but your couscous.

Gravatar OK OK, I will fess up!!! It was chardoney but it was a frugal California variety. If Rachel Ray cooks couscous, I guess I will have to try it myself.
Yes, I remember very well, the years at Pepsi Co when you never saw the door before 7:30 at night.

Moonstruck

Gravatar Beware the cous cous! I was one of the victims of a cous cous outbreak so pernicious it was suggested I report it to the CDC (see attached post and comments). I guess we Jack Pine Savages need to subist on venison and walleye to keep our systems in balance. Negra Modelo sounds like a good addition also however. http://gitcheegumeeguy.blogspot....-cous- cous.html

Gravatar Aw maaaan, Silbs dissed my dish!

Although OK, it's not the prettiest dish I ever made. Can't expect too much of a big pot of leftovers. Good leftovers, but still, leftovers. It's not supposed to be pretty!

:D

Tastes good, though!

When Obama starts sending me Silbs & DaveO's money (I think Tillerman and DennisG are squarely enough in northeast blue-state liberal territory that they'll be on the receiving end) I'll do all my grocery shopping at Dean & DeLuca. And replace the flourescent tubes in my kitchen with studio-quality floodlights. Then I'll give Rachel Ray & all those food pornographers a run for their elitist media bucks.

Speaking of bucks, DaveO, you are making hunting sound awfully interesting. Enjoying those hunting camp posts! I don't know if I want to sit in a tree stand freezing my Hawaii-raised okole off but I think TQ & I would have a great time hanging out in the Eight Or Better Lounge. We'd help cook too, TQ's an awesome camp cook.

Gravatar You dinner looks awesome...I'd definitely put it over a bowl of rice.

Gravatar Couscous is elitist? Isn't it peasant food (healthy and delicious also)?

Meanwhile when are they going to put in a cross country chardonnay pipeline? Maybe with different taps for oakey and citrus-sy.

Gravatar Oh I love that! Next leftovers I cook are sooo going to be labelled 'fusion cooking' haha.

Actually looks pretty yummy in that pic.
