That looks like a VERY nice swimming hole!

I went snorkeling in Bonaire (greatest place in the world to learn how to windsurf, btw) and I could hear the parrotfish'a teeth (beaks?) on the coral.

Nope, swimming in Hawaii most definitely does not suck!

When I started kayaking in NY, I'd actually say that readjusting my concept of "cold water" was one of my more important early lesson.

Thanks for the memories Bonnie! :~D It's nearly 40 years since I snorkeled Hanauma Bay. Billy (of BillyBlog fame) was just a wee lad at the time and I was visiting him and his mom in Hawaii. The pictures are wonderful but they just touch the surface of my long-term memories.
