Have fun with the HR folks.
I was hoping to go but couldn't, then consoled myself with the rainy forecast. Now the weather looks better there than here.

Don, you missed a truly fantastic weekend!
Claire, my poor garden is so wild n' wooly I don't know if I can do anything for it now except throw up my hands & say "May the best vegetable win!"
The dog belongs to my folks, he's a real sweetie & they've done a great job with him - he wasn't quite a rescue Sheltie, but he'd had a less than ideal puppyhood. He'd been bought from the breeder, probably left home at 8 weeks or so (the standard age at which Shelties are considered old enough to go to a new home). The relationship didn't work, though, and the pup was returned to the breeder. At that point, he was properly fed & probably had some attention, but he wasn't being taken out & socialized the way Shelties have GOT to be - the proper personality is "reserved" but without plenty of getting taken out in the world & seeing new things, reserve can easily morph into timid. By the time the breeder & my parents found each other through the O'ahu Sheltie grapevine, he was pretty far gone down that road, but my folks were willing to put the work in & Cambie is now as perfect a little gentleman of a dog as you'd ever like to meet.

Locals who I hear were going were John McConnel, Jane Taylor, and Emmet (aka "The Kid")
Emmet was the previous (second) owner of my SOF.

Bah. That didn't work either. Anyways, the first picture in a new Flickr set I posted last night, but haven't captioned or linked to yet, is of their fabulous setup. One more try to link to that"; if that doesn't work, the last item in the "Virtual Tours" section of my ancient blogroll goes to my main Flickr page. Sorry!

Could be a Haloscan glitch on the comments page. Is this the link? http://www.flickr.com/photos/

Found it. I've seen the biodiesel french-fry-mobile before but not the trailer.
Before your clues I tried searching for "frogma" but that only yielded a picture of you, not by you.

The car is biodiesel? We were all so a-twitter over the trailer that nobody asked anything about the car. Even better. How totally greenly hip!
And now that you've found the set, don't miss John's Greenlandic striptease (don't worry, it's totally G-rated)!
