Maggie, Christina's parents' dog, was also in heat while we were visiting. Two dogs came by, one ugly white one, who was quite succesful, yet disliked by Maggie, and a beagle who was well-liked, but too short to do anyting to her.
Anyway, we knew the white one was succesful when him and Magghie were locked together. I didn't know dogs did that, and neither did anyone else that was there at the moment, and all we saw was the two dogs yelping in pain.
Later Christina's brother took great pleasure in chasing off the beagle with rubber bb pellets.
