Socks matter. When your feet are hot, smelly, and sore, socks matter. You don't really have to wear dress socks. If your socks are the right color, no one will notice what kind they are. I get some nice, thick, soft cotton khaki socks at J.C. Penny to go with my khaki pants. I think they're Dockers brand.

There, now I've done something useful. The beheadings and bombings continue, but if your feet are not properly attired, it's not my fault.

I don't know what it is about men that makes it okay to wear socks with holes. I think men's socks should come with either an alarm bell that sounds when they're wearing thin, or a blue strip like you're razors do, that shows when it's time to replace them.
