I have noticed that uncles have a penchant for always sending the noisiest, most dangerous, most obnoxious gifts ever, mostly because it goes over well with the kids and will keep the parents scowling for weeks to come.

Even though I'm not the most devoted Christian, I also like that story from the Bible.
And while we're at it: I also like to say Christmas, instead of anything else. Cause that's what I celebrate. Any non-Christians are welcome to learn about what I do for Christmas, and I would be more than happy to learn about how and what they celebrate. Multiculturalism celebrates diversity, not the elimination of individual beliefs. If you are offended by someone living out their beliefs or traditions, you are the very opposite of tolerance.

Ah, heck, I almost forgot. That's an awesome present for your kids. My dad built a swing set for my siblings and I when we were kids. It also had this plattform for us to climb up on and slide down a removable slide. When the slide was taken off, we would just jump down. When the harvesters came in August, me and my friend would pretend they were attacking us and we had to fight them off. I should write a post on my blog about it some time.

cool zip line snag. that would work well at my place where elevation goes from a highg of 1350 foot to 950 in 400 foot. imaging the speed we could get! but stopping might be a problem...
