I beg to differ about the wearing white shoes after Labor Day .... it is perfectly acceptable now. Why do you think they call it Winter white?? But as for me ... I wouldn't be caught dead in white shoes whether it be before or after Labor Day or anywhere in between. White shoes are just .........tacky.

Hey does white tennis shoes count??. I'm a yankee born and half bred, but family is tee totally southern so southern that other southerners needs translation at times. Example My step grams would say "nuttin better than a warm bean and a cold biscuit"... Had to explain that one to my southern husband. go figure *LMAO* God I Love backwoods Alabama southerners (part of my family is there deep deep in those woods too )
