While this is definitely going in the right direction, it would be interesting to see how the individual digits are distributed. Are they similar to random numbers? Do they follow a certain pattern, like Benford's Law? Please elaborate.

They tracked pi to several million didgets and found no such numerical trend. somewhere along the way they found four 8s in a row but that is about it.
