Speak to Snag...

Gravatar EGAD! That is horrible. I took my kids camping this past weekend, they absolutely LOVED it. Not quite complete roughing it, but we had a tent a campfire and it was fun stuff. We'll do it again this summer!

Gravatar kids these days....well, I guess really parents these days....these kids really don't know what they are missing

Gravatar Point well made. One more thing:

As early as possible, let them kill something. Then, make a big deal about it while your family eats it for dinner.

It is hard for me to tell if i am being mocked or not.

But one of the staple foods at the Snagley house is venison.

For several years in my life if it had not been for me taking the lives of deer and other animals i am not sure that we would have made it.

I was raised very poor.

Gravatar Bo,
I would not mock a distinguished gentleman like you. One of my favorite memories is the first time my mother served venison from my first deer. I felt pretty big.

Gravatar I live in Montana and have four kids. We have miles and miles of great American "wild" to explore. Unfortunately we also have cartoons 24 hours a day.

Went from blog to blog to blog and don't really know how I ended up here, but I dig it.

Keep up the fine work.

Gravatar Hey dude....I like the way ya thnk...not too far off from the way I think. Isnt it sad what parenting has become? It seems that these days parents want to raise a nation full of no sense mindless pussies that arent allowed to do this or that but they sure can play the hell out of an xbox or a ps2 cant they?

Gravatar David.
I shall have to have you over for dinner and serve you an elk roast i have been saving.

Jamieford
man i love me some bugs bunny but only in small doses.

mpd.
welcome. Yes makes me sick

Gravatar preach on, Brother Bo!!
I'm sick of political correct tree-hugging fanatics trying to ban guns and hunting and anything else we used to do as kids that is now deemed "dangerous and/or detrimental" to a kid's health by some psychoshithead that has never even felt freshly cut grass under his own bare feet, let alone mud from the riverbank squishing up 'twixt his toes. Can I get an Amen?
