Happy Late Birthday AND Happy Midlife Crisis. I know, it's not real easy to celebrate it, but hey, since it's going on anyway, might as well enjoy it. Share it with your family! I'm a big fan of Corvettes and was happy just to sit in one a couple of years ago. And even though eventually having one would be sweet, I don't think it will happen and I don't really care.

I think we all look back and wonder where the years have gone. I know my goal is not to have a house full of pretty things I can't take with me when I go but to raise my children to be hard working, law abiding, compassionate citizens. I think if you have accomplished that then you can look back and know it was a job well done.

My parents completely forgot about my 16th b-day because my sister was getting married and we had a house full of company including my grandparents foreign exchange student from China. I was crushing on a hot guy who had no idea I existed and to top it all off some nerd showed off my panties in the boys bathroom during a school dance. (Sixteen Candles)
