I think the director is ignorant. When a farmer shoots a cow, he doesn't do it any old place the cow happens to be, and then cart it away. He takes the cow to the place he wants it to fall, and shoots it there.

But maybe you were looking for a moral impression. In that case, all I care is that it was his cow, and he made a clean kill. Of course, his timing could have been better.

Or maybe you're just asking if it's funny. Yeah, kind of.
