The 4L60E has been a standard in Gm's inventory for the past twenty years or so. It's used in damn near every truck, suburban and Tahoe they build.
It's bigger brother is the 4L65E which is used in heavier applications such as three quarter and one ton trucks.
Same casing as the 4L60E, just heavier gears and a few other parts.
If your gonna use Mobil One, use a good filter such as the Fram 7000 mile extended life or Mobile one filter as well.
