Gravatar You're right. Sometimes quiet is magical and so, so right. Thanks fo the reminder, fellow Triiiber.

Gravatar "The Lace ReaderI is in my pile, too, in part because of the buzz and in part because Brunonia lives in my neck of the woods! I am pretty intrigued by the title of the "literary and potato peel" book, too.. so thanks for that!

Gravatar I'm glad you had opportunity for quiet time. Kids are fun, but a break is needed from time to time.

Gravatar I *just* finished The Lace Reader tonight on my dinner break, and it was quite good. I won't say more, so as not to spoil anyone's reading! I also just finished Heretic's Daughter, which is also set in
Salem, MA, and since I just visited Witch City, I could easily picture the action.

Enjoy Lace Reader!

Gravatar Oh--and Gargoyle was fascinating, so dark and almost Steven King-like in its intensity and visceral writing style.

Don't read it while eating!
