Michael knows my answer to this one, since he gave me the book: James Rollins' Subterranean. Who doesn't love mutant kangaroo/human hybrids living under the antarctic ice?

Hi Steve,
Sounds like a winner! I'm trying to picture the mutant kangaroo/human hybrids, but can't figure out just what parts would be kangaroo and what parts human. If I have nightmares tonight, I'll just blame Michael.
Thanks for the comment!

What's the point of being a human/kangaroo hybrid if you don't have a pouch and legs built for bounding?!?

Susanne, that looks fantastic! I wrote down the title and will look for it at one of the bookstores I'm visiting this week. Thanks for the tip. It's 100 degrees here today and a trailer park novel seems like just the thing!

Annie,
No shame in loving Agatha Christie, and I'm a sucker for Maeve Binchy's early stuff ... then again, I'm a sucker for most anything Irish. Thanks for sharing!
