Gravatar Michael knows my answer to this one, since he gave me the book: James Rollins' Subterranean. Who doesn't love mutant kangaroo/human hybrids living under the antarctic ice?

Gravatar Hi Steve,
Sounds like a winner! I'm trying to picture the mutant kangaroo/human hybrids, but can't figure out just what parts would be kangaroo and what parts human. If I have nightmares tonight, I'll just blame Michael.

Thanks for the comment!

Ann

Gravatar What's the point of being a human/kangaroo hybrid if you don't have a pouch and legs built for bounding?!?

Gravatar I have a great one!

Gravatar Susanne, that looks fantastic! I wrote down the title and will look for it at one of the bookstores I'm visiting this week. Thanks for the tip. It's 100 degrees here today and a trailer park novel seems like just the thing!

Gravatar anything by maeve binchy or agatha christie.

Gravatar Annie,
No shame in loving Agatha Christie, and I'm a sucker for Maeve Binchy's early stuff ... then again, I'm a sucker for most anything Irish. Thanks for sharing!

Gravatar I'm embarrassed by the number of times I've read and roared over Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs.

Gravatar Heather, not sure I've ever looked through that, but yeah, I can see where I could get a few hours of entertainment there ... Thanks!
