Phew! I can only begin to imagine how you must have felt on the way to the hospital.
The births of my children seem to have been characterised by strange quirks which the students on the ward were dragged in to look at. With number one son, it was a placenta weighing over 3lb (the average weight is 1.5lb) and when my daughter was born she had a true knot in her umbilical cord - evidently made when she was tiny enough to perform intricate somersaults!
I am convinced there is no such thing as a normal birth. The toe hair curling stories that get swapped by parents just do my head in sometimes. TB

I'm sorry, I may be a bit slow but I don't get the 'my potatoes started to boil dry' bit. Is potatoes a metaphor for your balls?
Ah professor, you are trying to read far too much into something that has only the surface reading. My potatoes started to boil dry means just that... TB
