I took a year off in college and traveled in Europe and North Africa, and it was one of the best things I ever did. Great experiences, wonderful stories, an completely recharged me for completing college (and then some).

Absolutely. Travel is good for the soul, especially free wheeling travel when you're young. TB

Oh to be in my 20's again with that..."have ticket, will travel" feeling... ex-hubby and I took off 18 months from 'life' to do exactly that in our 20's.
