And people can be quite extraordinary when it comes to legacies. I was my father's executor last year, and people were jockeying for position over his household goods, which since he had been divorced quite recently and anyhow cared less than anyone I've ever met about possessions, was basically a load of rubbish - like an aged and dodgy microwave and a B&Q-type torch.
Welcome back! Yes, legacies leave their own, often horrible legacy. Thankfully this one turned out ok. TB
