I have to agree with you...there are things I deeply regret but if changing them means not having my boys, I would do it all over exactly the same. Nothing prepares one for parenthood..the conflicting emotions, the pain, the horrors, the joy, the funny things...how could we ever want that to be dofferent.

And then - I am happy with where I am now, and I am only here because of the past..so no - I wouldn't want that to change either.

I guess though that there ARE people who wish things had been different.

I know there are, and that's such a sad thing. Some people just can't be happy with their lives. Thing is, I'm not sure it would get better if we could go back and change things. Shite happens in life, and if you unmake one mistake or problem, another would arrive at your doorstep the next day...
