Stupid train companies actually... Things are actually much better now than they were 8-9 years ago, but these last few weeks have just been really bad. TB

How far do you have to commute? I have about a 40-60 min commute and rarely get a seat. The worst for me is when the A train I tranfer to halfway to work is too full and I have to wait for the next one.

I've got a 1 3/4s to 2 hours total, but that's made up of a bit of car time, 2 trains and some walking. The main train journey is about 45 minutes. I actually pay for a first class ticket, which is supposed to guarentee a seat, so its doubly agrevating. TB

Can't you complain that you aren't getting what you paid for? Or is that just not worth the hassles?

Hi, the commute is 3-4 hours a day, not each way. 8 hours commuting would leave me absolutely flat! TB
