The Boy on Top

Gravatar Oooh...big sympathies...Nathan has just had chicken pox and went back to school today...and now it's breath holding time to see if Fabien will succumb..probably he will...which will mean another week off work to child mind...aaagh!

Even though I feel so bad for the kids, I struggle to be sweetly sympathetic and cozy Mommy at 3am, when I am dragged out of sleep for the 5th time.

Ah... yes. For me the worst is being pulled back from sleep in those first two hours of going to bed. I always feel like a zombie and I'm sure I act like one. Sympathy needs sleep. TB

Gravatar Trouble is I always know I'll get what mine have......

I seem to have missed this one, thankfully! I hate throwing up. TB

Gravatar I fear that I too, may be in the process of succumbing to a flu bug of sorts...Just in time for Thanksgiving...

Ain't it grand this time of year? TB

Gravatar Yep, my niece and nephew in Kent have just had that one (also their mummy and their grandma, be warned; their daddy being at the other end of the world last week). More mysteriously, my other nephew and niece in Hong Kong have got it too......we think it's a computer virus.

We seem to have avoided it, but as it seems to have a one week incubation won't know for certain until the weekend. Both LL and I have had more than a few stomach "situations" so both have a fairly robust intenstinal flora. Cross fingers, we avoid it totally! Watch this space. TB

Gravatar Aww, poor little guys!! (and girl)

Hope everyone is healing OK.

I can't even imagine how helpless you guys felt:-(

Its not fun. Having kids is a mix of highs and lows. Mostly highs thankfully. TB

Gravatar Ooh, my weekend was certainly not as bad as yours. Poor all of you.
