Oh dear - downsizing hurts a bit, doesn't it! never mind...I can't fit a kitten in my boot. Why do they make a smart little car like that with plasticcy bits? Aren't they quite expensive things?

The interior is all plastic, but then so are most cars these days, even the luxury ones. Its just a higher grade of plastic... TB

No clutch??? Oh I just know my foot would still be hitting the floor in gear changes!! I have to say, while not very keen on the look of the Smart Car, I have been in one (as a passenger) and it was pretty nice inside. I do like the little flashy sports Smart cars though : -) (Apart from the back end!). Perhaps you can upgrade to one of them one day... lol

I did try to fit in the sports Smart and just did not fit (I'm 6'4"). The "sports" element is a bit of an illusion as it has the same 700cc engine! TB
