The Boy on Top

Gravatar Oh I took a nice long holiday - 10 days of nothingness...eating, reading, sleeping, lazing...so lovely.

Geez I get tired reading about your life..all that stress and busyness...ooof! And you do like to punish yourself eh! Another project on the boil. Lordy!

I do actually love it, otherwise I couldn't do it. I could have done without a delivery deadline just after Xmas so I could have properly kicked back, but such is life. The stress in general is good stress, and the busyiness is a part of my life. Always have been. I just have an extremely low boredom threshold! TB

Gravatar I had some dandy time with my son. Congrats on the progress and when all is done, work on the wine store again. Cheers!!

Cracking open bottles on a daily basis! Well, didn't yesterday, but otherwise am making a good dint on supplies. Which is a good thing as it means I can buy in more! TB

Gravatar I had 10 days off. It was heaven as I hadn't had a single holiday or any time off in 2006.

I just hung out with my family which was really lovely and got closer to my mum.

This year for the first year ever I was actually more excited about being with my family than getting presents!

The first year? Thats a good sign from the year you've been through. Glad it was a good one. TB

Gravatar yep, a week and a half of splendid not-a-lot-ism.

Half term, that's my break, half term! TB

Gravatar 10 days off. In the Caribbean. I lugged my laptop and boring, industry-related tome. I opened neither. It was a great, albeit pig-filled, break.

Nice. A bit of sun and beach would go down rather well right now. TB

Gravatar 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts at Heathrow = off til Boxing day (which meant avoiding trip to sister-in-laws) and off New Year = well wrecked. shifts are crap but they fell ok this year.

Work is work is work and fills the hours in most unpleasent ways! TB
