How galling!

Now, are gall stones the ones they just want you to pass, or is that kidney stones?
(My dad had gall stones, and my little sister -- she must've been all of 4 or 5 at the time -- thought he had "gold" stones and was mightily impressed: this was better tahn a goose with golden eggs, a father with GOLD stones!)

Biliary colic - ouch - I recommend diclofenac. Do something about it though, don't put it off, because I can tel you you really don't want acute pancreatitis.
I know I know, and I am! It is a warning call even I have to listen to. TB

Fair, fat and forty, are we then? Low fat diet for now then.
No, I'm unkind to tease and I'm sympathetic, really. I agree with Potentilla, don't leave it as you could end up in real trouble.
The bright side is that, for once, you will get some value of that health insurance.
I may be fair, but forty was a while back and I am not fat! More important than low fat is low cholesterol. But yes, the diet must change. I'll have to reign in my love of cheese...
Yes, have already started soliciting the best consultants to go with.
Teasing is allowed, possibly even encouraged... TB

It's an excuse to stay off work? But I agree with everyone else - pain is not good and must be seen to at the first opportunity. It's your body's warning system, to which you must always listen, otherwise you end up flat on your back, p'd off and bored and that is never good.
Been there, done that, won't do it again! TB

Awww, poor BOT! Gall stones do not sound like fun. And I'm with everyone else here, since you are getting older, don't put off pain or any sort of symptoms. Things can get pretty serious pretty fast, especially the older we get!

Imperatrix stole my line! I'm having some prolonged pains as well. Every week I'm convinced it something different ... the joys of self-diagnosis thru the internet.
