Not that I've ever been invited to Goodwood, Wimbledon or Henley - free tickets to the odd antique fair is all that ever comes my way.

It's our village festival this weekend, so I'm confident of fine weather. In Norfolk, that is, can't speak for Down South'n'West

They say this weekend will be hot and sunny. They say. Right now, with rain pouring and wind howling, I can't believe it.

I have 3 weeks to go at work. I don't know why I am still bothering to go in, but I am. I'd also like to just wake up one morning and think, "Bugger them all" and turn over and go back to sleep. But I can't.

Yup, protestant guilt. Its a horrible thing.

I do hope we get some sun, just a little. Its thundering outside the office at the moment, so it doesn't look good... TB

I've had the quietest two weeks in history. I could have stayed at home and no one would have noticed. Now that'm going on holiday for a week the workload has gone through the roof.

Mind you as for leaving at 9pm, I used to do that, but nowadays I just think sod 'em they pay me for eight, they get 8!
