Being a parent is a wonderful thing. Why some people don't get that is a mystery. TB
My sister is a music teacher married to a very talented saxophonist.. I wish they could afford to privately educate their kids. I have experienced both public and private education with three of our four children. Although we are almost broke, it works for us. Most importantly, it works for them. Happy, well-rounded, non-bullied, high-achieving and popular people - these grow into responsible, gifted and caring citizens, those who give back to society. I am so tired of being blamed for propagating our "class" system. If state schools weren't failing our kids so badly, there would be no necessity to send mine through the public school system.. and we would be far better off financially!
The class system debate in this country frustrates me hugely. Well done you for doing the best by your children. If more people did that we probably wouldn't be in this mess. TB
