That sounds like it was a blast!! My mom always does the cake thing too...we once figured it out that our family averaged 13 cakes per year for all the events/birthdays(there are only four b-days per year)/holidays!!

Wild cakes are a wonderful thing. My mum did them too, and I'm secretely pleased my wife picked up the baton on this one, as I do most of the cooking. I would have happily done it myself, but I know it gives her real pleasure to do (after the fact, she gets quite stressed out in the making process). TB
