The Boy on Top

Gravatar Part of becoming an adult, I think, means coming to terms with the fact that humans can be real asses with one another, especially the ones we love.

We've all got skeletons in our closets, indeed.

As for having your kids "late" -- my father in law, who is 75, has an 11 year old son -- so you aren't that old at all, you spring chicken!

Gravatar thanks for answering the questions. I didn't know about your GF that died in your arms, having not read many archives of yours - can you direct me to them? Also, it's good just to hear another's take on life and the bigger questions.... and I'm glad you have no LARGE regrets and that you're happy being you...

(ps I took a lead from you the other day and stopped being scared of my cleaner and finally asked her to finish up and have got a new one. I am pleased I managed to, because even though I'm quite bolshy, she would make me feel so guilty I really was one of those people who would clear up before the cleaner came! And for some reason your post on changing nannies helped ! (not that these were big life issues or anything, just it helped in a small way, a small thing)

Hiya, the post is here. Nope, no depression creating regrets, mostly I am just happy with me.

Very glad you did the cleaner change. I think there's some weird middle class guilt in having cleaners and nannies and such that makes it an odd employment. I always try to bring it back at home to how you'd deal with a situation at work. Its really no different. Any how, pleased if a small thing helped in a small way. Most of the time you can't ask for better than that. TB

Gravatar wow just read that and commented, thank you...

It wasn't a pleasure, but it was a relief. If that makes sense? TB

Gravatar I have too many regrets to list here! Like you say though without events in my life thus far I wouldn't be the person I am today and I quite like me.

Good, liking yourself is the best way to live life. TB

Gravatar I wondered, 'Who is latish?"

Latish, 30ish, not quite youngish... Sigh... TB

Gravatar The term 'rounded human being' springs to mind. We all have regrets mate, the fact we know them and understand them makes us whole.

She already knows that. x (manly way)

Indeed, life mean regret. knowing it and moving on is the key. TB
