Diamond Geezer has a great post today about the iPhone. I really love my Nano and use it most days when I'm out running.
I however have an N95 (i told you I was a sucker for Nokia's) which I am very happy with, although I did break the battery cover two days after I had it.
A friend is going to try and get one tonight from out local o2 shop and I shall be having a look over the weekend.
I also know people that use Mac's a swear by them - I would love and iMac - they look fantastic, but like the phones, I just can't get used to anything different. It took my about a month to get used to Windows XP - Bring back 3.11 I used to say....
However, if they have phone for the phone what they did for the MP3 player then I'll be sold. If they have done for phones what they have done for computers then I'll stick with Nokia thank you.
I find it quite comforting to know what weather my mother has in Vancouver.

I do envy you Europeans with your options to switch cell phone carriers on a whim. Here, they lock you into multiple-year contracts. The New York Times was tracking how quickly folks were disabling the ATT-only aspect of the iPhone. Go hackers!
I've got a 4-gig nano, so I clearly can't fit all my music on it, but I like to rotate through stuff. I find I "rediscover" my music that way better than having it all in one place (I am too quick to skip songs in the rotation if I don't fell like listening to them just then.)
Europe isn't quite that liberal, though I haven't seen a multiyear contract. You can get simple pay as you go, or complex everything included. It is a highly competetive market.
I like random walks through all my music to deal with just that. If I'm not in the mood for something I skip it, but it reminds me what's lurking in the reaches of my collection. Its going to be a pain to choose what to load and what to leave! TB
I went in to our local o2 store today tpo change something on my tarrif (and to sneak a look). They are selling adaptors for the headphone socket......

OH yuck, I am so behind the times. I don't have an Ipod or an Iphone. So thanks for the read. Now at least I can LOOK like I know what's going on with the latest technology!

I love my iPod and my phone. Thanks for the review on this as was seriously lusting after one. Might wait a bit though to see if they iron it all out
Don't get me wrong, its good. The problems with the battery and the jack though, I don't think those will get ironed out, they're delibrate policy! TB
