I am very much of the opinion that the meat that we eat should be ethically and small-scale reared - as you know we rear our own chickens.

We don't generally eat enormous lumps of steak, but a little bit here and there as part of a curry or a stew. I think that 'humans as omnivores' means basically eating what is available and in season.
