The Boy on Top
It's quite good for children to learn to be bored and then find something to do to alleviate the boredom. Mind you, when I was a kid there was no such thing as a theme park and everything was shut on a Sunday anyway. And my parents would rather have walked on hot coals than go anywhere like that in any case.
They'd have made me take the dogs for a walk or tidy my room.
Precisely. Nothing like a little boredom to get the mind active. Its just hot to deal with the boredom without the attitude... TB
I'm learing from you two.....
Mind yo my parents made me and my brother mow the lawns and we had 4 large ones and a hand push lawn mower.
As my father still says "it's made you the man you are today!"
When my son is bored he makes the funniest damn vidoes on the camera. He too, is great with knowing the value of money. Keep up with the good luck of having good kids Boy!!
What about jigsaw puzzles? Or blogging?
Oh, we've got a whole lot of jig saws in our house. Funny, I didn't ever get turned on by them much, but the kids love em. Blogging though? In time, in time... TB
